The hotel has gradually added amenities since it opened including a spa, on-site restaurant, gym, and room service. It’s central to tons of shopping along with all of the best restaurants.

Hotel Effie feels like the perfect property for a luxury stay while also being close to the beach. It’s just not going to be in walking distance.

However, you don’t have to go far to get it. While Hotel Effie and Baytown Wharf do offer water views, it’s more like being on the side of a lake than the traditional beach access.

If you’re looking to just pop down to the beach with minimal items required from your hotel room for some sun, this isn’t the place. How convenient is Hotel Effie to the beach? But it’s a bit confusing to explain so just know there is one parking lot in front of the hotel and you have access to it with a bit of walking. Under the category of “ I’m not telling you this but I’m telling you this” there is also a way to park on-site. Additionally, there is also the refundable deposit which we most often use for room service – the food is so good! Hotel Effie guests receive general admission to the rooftop. The viewing party will have a live DJ, cocktails and VIP seating. At night, there will be a Baytowne Fireworks viewing party at the Ara Rooftop & Pool Lounge atop Hotel Effie. On the fourth, bottomless Bloody Mary’s will be served along with a mimosa bar and a Paint and Sip during the day. Saturday will begin with a Jazz Brunch and a Cocktail Class and Sunday will consist of another Jazz Brunch and a Night Swim. The weekend celebration will kick off on Friday, July 1st, with a wine tasting at 5pm and live music to follow later in the evening.
